A NEW LINEAGE in the order of Melchizedek

See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire." (HEBREWS 25-29)

Gender ideas manifest PEOPLE own interpretations about gender ROLES and are not based on Christ.

These are some ideas where I found that many authors are still struggling with their understanding about a Christ like servant leader. As an example authors Dennis McCallum and Gary DeLashmutt on Men, Women, and Gender Roles in Marriage, said:-"Like Christ, the Christian husband is to lead the way..."

Like Christ... we are all to grow to the stature of Christ (Eph 4). Women are also called to be like Christ. If we began to understand New Covenant Marriage based on kingdom principle of mutal submittion as stated on Ephesians 5:21 "submit one to another." Then, we could understand that a Christ like husband is not focused on showing the way to his wife, because that is Christ job. If she is a born again Christian, Holy Spirit will show her the way, truth and error for this Holy Spirit can use the husband but is not the husband role.

Also said:
-Recognizing leadership in the home may be especially difficult for women who have experienced evil male authority figures, or who have adopted an ideology that opposes the concept of gender roles.

Please tell me who is the woman in this world that have not experienced evil from a man. That is the same reason why Christ is telling men to follow his humble example of GIVING UP POWER AND CONTROL.

This is a PREJUDICE AND MANIPULATIVE comment that is telling women, if you do not accept the gender roles established by the male centered religious society is because you are hurt. Thus, you are in need of healing and your decisions are wrong.

It is also saying you "have adopted an ideology that opposes the concept of gender roles," which, we have shared in other discussions that gender roles are cultural and socially constructed. Who are the ones that opposed gender roles? Feminist !

Again the terrible "F word" that none Christian women want to be called. Why because it implies exactly what I have explain to you, and is an evil manipulation, that lives in many people minds. It tries to stop you from being free from prejudice from this world.

The author is also forgetting that in Christ as the wife is part of the body the husband is also part of Christ's body.

Husbands are not Christ on earth. The only head of the church is Christ. The body of the church is composed by men and women.

Ephesians 1

9And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.


15For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 4:15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

Colossians 1:17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,

Colossians 2:9For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

Head and Priest

Head of the house. Priest of the house. Head of his wife, priest of his wife. We all have heard about those expressions. Well just read what bible says:

Hebrews 2:17
For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

THIS INCLUDES YOU WOMAN OF GOD
Hebrews 3:1
[ Jesus Greater Than Moses ] Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

JESUS IS YOUR HEAD AND HIGH PRIEST

Hebrews 4:14
[ Jesus the Great High Priest ] Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.

Hebrews 5:1
Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

Hebrews 5:5
So Christ also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father. "

Hebrews 5:6
And he says in another place, "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."

YOU ARE! WHO? JESUS CHRIST

Hebrews 5:10
and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

JESUS IS OUR HIGH PRIEST THE FIRST AMONG MANY PRIEST

Hebrews 6:20
where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.


Hebrews 7:1
[ Melchizedek the Priest ] This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him,

Hebrews 7:3
Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever.

WOW WITHOUT HUMAN GENEALOGY NOT HUMAN INFLUENCE

Hebrews 7:5
Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, their brothers—even though their brothers are descended from Abraham.

Hebrews 7:11
[ Jesus Like Melchizedek ] If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come—one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?

LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD IS THE ROOT OF THE CHAUVINISTIC UNDERSTANDING OF HEADSHIP

Hebrews 7:12
For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.

DID THE BIBLE USED THE WORD CHANGE? CHANGE OF LAW, CHANGE OF PRIESTHOOD

Hebrews 7:14
For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.


Hebrews 7:15
And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears,

THIS IS A NEW WAY OF GOVERNING. IS A CHRIST LIKE GOVERMENT.

Hebrews 7:16
one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.

Hebrews 7:17
For it is declared: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."

Hebrews 7:20
And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath,

Hebrews 7:21
but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.' "

Hebrews 7:23
Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;

MAYBE YOU MAN WANT TO BE OF THOSE PRIEST THAT DEATH CAN PREVENT YOU FROM CONTINUING IN YOUR LEVITICAL OFFICE.

Hebrews 7:24
but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.

BUT WE (JUAN AND YENAN) PREFFER JESUS AS HEAD AND PRIEST

Hebrews 7:28
For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

LAW IS THE MINISTRY OF CONDEMANTION, CHAUVINISTIC HEADSHIP COVERED WITH SPIRITUALITY AND RELIGIOSE JARGON IS FROM THE DISTORTED UNDERSTANDING OF THE LAW.

Hebrews 8:1
[ The High Priest of a New Covenant ] The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

Hebrews 8:3
Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer.

Hebrews 8:4
If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law.

Hebrews 9:6
When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.

Hebrews 9:7
But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

Hebrews 9:11
[ The Blood of Christ ] When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.

Hebrews 9:25
Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.

Hebrews 10:11
Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

Hebrews 10:12
But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.

Hebrews 10:21
and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

PRAISE GOD THAT IGNORANCE HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR ALL OF THOSE THAT ARE WILLING TO RECEIVE HUMBLY CHRIST REVELATION.

HE IS A GREAT PRIEST OVER THE HOUSE OF GOD... I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT WE ARE I THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD, AND OUR MARRIAGE IS IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD, AND OUR FAMILY IS IN THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD.

WE ARE all priests in Christ: MAN AND WOMAN, HUSBAND AND WIFE

1 Peter 2:5
you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Revelation 1:6
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

A NEW LINEAGE in the order of Melchizedek.

Revelation 5:10
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
